Day 01 Paro

  • Your arrival will be traditionally received by our BST Representative in the Paro Airport and escorted to hotel in Paro.
  • Dinner: (R) Overnight: (H)

Day 02 Paro sightseeing:

  • Excursion to the famous Taktsang(Tiger’s nest) monastery.
  • Lunch: (R) Dinner: (R) Overnight: (H)

Day 03 Paro- Punakha

  • Drive to Punakha via Dochula pass (3050m). This pass offers panoramic views of himalayan ranges.
  • Short walk to visit Chime Lhakhang .
  • Visit Punakha Dzong, winter seat of Je Khenpo (chief abbot) of Bhutan ancient capital of Bhutan, remarkably located between the rivers of Mochhu(female) and Po chhu(male).
  • Lunch: (R) Dinner: (R) Overnight: (H)

Day 04 Punakha-Thimphu;

  • Wangduephodrang Dzong, built in 1638
  • En-route briefly stop at the Dochula pass cafeteria for refreshments.
  • Explore Thimphu bazaar.
  • Lunch: (R) Dinner: (R) Overnight: (H).

Day 05 Thimphu sightseeing;

  • National Memorial Chorten, built in the honour of our third king Jigme dorji Wangchuk.
  • Zilukha nunnery.
  • National School of Arts and Crafts.
  • Traditional Medical institute, where medicine are prepared according to ancient practices.
  • Folk heritage museum
  • Thimphu view point
  • Traditional paper industry
  • Textile Museum .
  • Tashichhodzong, seat of the national Government and the central Monastic body,
  • Handicraft Emporium.
  • Visit to the Takin, zoo,
  • Lunch: (R) Dinner: (R) Overnight: Hotel

Day 06 Thimphu/ Paro

  • Drive to Paro
  • Sightseeing in Paro
  • Rinpung Dzong, built in 1646 and is the seat of the district administration of Paro.
  • Drukgyal Dzong, the fortress of the victorious Drukpas, was built in the 1650s to commemorate a victory over the Tibetans invasions. It caught fire in 1951 and now it stands in ruins.
  • Kyichu Temple, one of the oldest Temple in Bhutan dated back to the 7th century.
  • Paro market.
  • Ta Dzong, an ancient watchtower, which now houses the National Museum.
  • Walk to a farmhouse in the valley.
  • Lunch: (R) Dinner: (R) Overnight: (H)

Day 07 Departure

  • You will be escorted to the airport by our guide who will bid you farewell.
