Day 01: Arrival

On arrival you will be traditionally received by our representative, then escorted to the hotel in Paro.
Explore Paro Town. Visit a Farm house in the valley

Day 02 Paro Sightseeing;

• Rinpung Dzong, built in 1646 and is the seat of the district administration of Paro
• Drukgyal Dzong, Dzong of the victorious Drukpas, was built in 1650s to commemorate a victory over the Tibetan invasion. It caught fire in 1951 and as never repaired.
• Kyichu Temple, one of the oldest Temple in Bhutan dated back to the 7th century.
• Ta Dzong, an ancient watchtower which now house the National Museum.
• Paro Town, the main shopping places.
• Taktsang view point.

Day 03 Paro/ Thimphu

Drive to Thimphu
Thimphu sightseeing;
• National Memorial Chorten, built in the honour of our late king Jigme Dorji Wangchuk.
• Zilukha nunnery.The nunnery also offers a magnificent view of the Tashichho Dzong.
• National School of Arts and Crafts, where traditional arts
• Traditional Medicine Institute, where Medicine are prepared according to ancient practices.
• Textile Museum (gallery of the Bhutanese Textiles through the ages)
• Handicrafts Emporium.

Day 04 Thimphu/ Punakha

• Drive to Punakha via Dochu la (3050m), this often offers panoramic views of Himalayan ranges.
• Visit Punakha Dzong, winter seat of Je Khenpo(chief abbot)of Bhutan and ancient capital of Bhutan, remarkably located between the rivers Po Chu(male) and Mo chu(Female).

Day 05 The samtengang trek Punakha /Limukha(12kms)4 hrs

The trail gradually climbs through the forest of chirpine ,paddy fields,fruit orchards and villages.

Day 06 Limukha/Chhungsakha(14kms) 5 hrs

The trial gradually climbs through rhododendron and oak forested area. Enroute visit a famous Drukpa Kuenlay temple.

Day 07 Chhungsakha/ Samtengang

The trial takes you through the village of Sha in Wangduephodrang district. The camp is at the side of the lake.

Day 08 Samtengang/ Thimphu

The trial leads downhill to the road head at Chuzomsa in Wangduephodrang district.
Drive back to Thimphu

Day 09 Thimphu

Morning : Thimphu sightseeing

Lunch: (R)

Afternoon: Drive to Paro

Dinner: (R), Overnight: (H)

Day 10 Depart Paro for your onward destination.
